Marketing 101: You MUST communicate your message effectively to get business.
One of the most effective ways of communicating your message in print is through a brochures, because you can both market your services and increase your brand awareness with current and prospective clients. Even so, brochures are often overlooked as a marketing tool by small businesses and entrepreneurs, but this is a big mistake that you don’t want to make in your business.
Brochures can be used in a variety of ways:
1. Mail brochures to potential clients and former clients to let them know what your current offerings are.
2. Keep them out and visible in your office to increase awareness of your current business offerings with your client base.
3. Give them away at business meeting, trade shows, and networking events.
Not everyone will take the initiative to save your business card, go to your website, and peruse your offerings. However, most people will open up a nicely laid out brochure and quickly review the contents. If it is interesting enough, they will hang on to it for future reference even if they don’t use your services now. The will pass them on to friends and colleagues who are in need of what you offer, “Hey, I just got a brochure from someone who does that. Here, let me get it for you.”
Brochures can also be economical to produce and you don’t have to break the bank to get your message out. With easy templates, you can fill in your relevant information and be on your way to increasing your client base.
One company I love working with for my print materials is Overnight Prints. I’ve used them for large postcards, business cards, and brochures. You can get gloss on both sides of your cards, rounded edges, and even spotlighting certain areas on your print materials.
